Building and protecting wealth is a personal subject for everyone.  As a boy, I grew up hearing my grandpa talk about how he had been a millionaire three times on paper, but had lost it all and started over just as many times.    From the oil bust of the 1980s, to the real estate crash, our family struggled to protect the wealth that had been accumulated.    

As individuals, one of our greatest desires is to build and pass along wealth to our children.  To somehow be a blessing on future generations to come so that they have it a little easier than we did or they have opportunities that we never had.  Proverbs 13:22 says, "A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children."  Wright Wealth Management, LLC exists to partner with you to Build for Today while Protecting Tomorrow.

With that background in mind, I entered the world of finance.   I came here in a round about way first graduating with honors from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1999.

Along the way, I have been an avid personal investor and student of the market for the past 25 years.  I experienced the Dot-com crash (2000) and the Great Financial Crisis (2007-2008) as an investor and the Covid crash along with all the choppiness of the market as an advisor.     

All of these situations have lead to vital learning and experience.  As a friend once told me, calm seas never created skilled sailors.  That statement has rung true as I've sailed the volatility of the market.  After spending 6 years with one of the largest firms in the industry, I decided to start my own practice with the driving force being to help people Build Wealth and Protect it for Generations to come.
